The power-optimiser is designed for DC Motors powered with solar panels. The optimiser for multiple DC Voltages has four significant benefits to its user:

Features of the Power Optimiser are:

1. Provides more hours of pumping per day by starting earlier in the morning and pumping longer in the afternoon and improves operation on cloudy days, hence more water is pumped per day.
2. Reduces wear of brushes as motor is prevented from over-speeding. This results in longer motor life, hence less repairs.
3. Used with diaphragm pumps, the diaphragms last longer as no over-speed means less wear.
4. Supports remote switching.

The Power-Optimiser also supports a 'bore low' function together with a time delay of 20min. for the bore to recover, before re-start of pump. LED status indication for low-level switches.

In reverse this function can also be used as a 'tank full' function with time delay. A low-level switch with cable is also needed for these two operations.

Possible voltage selections for Power-Optimiser 12V - 48V

12, 24, 36 or 48 Volt. The over speed control is optional.
For 12 & 24V the Power-Optimiser is fitted into a PVC box.
For 36 & 48V the Optimiser is fitted into an aluminium box which acts as a heat sink.

One port each NO/NC (normally open / normally closed) are standard features. They can be used together with a pressure switch, timer etc. An on/off switch is standard.
